Why We LOVE The Tricities
Our team LOVES where we live, and we’re here to proudly confess our undying love for our beautiful neighbourhoods! Our team represents the Tricities well. Sonia and Rebecca hail from Burke Mountain, Steph represents Port Coquitlam and Eric has made a beautiful little home in Port Moody. Each of these ‘hoods has so much to offer. Here’s a little list of a few of our favourite things:
Coquitlam
Diverse neighbourhoods! From the density of the Coquitlam Centre area to the hiking trails of Burke, there’s a lot to offer in Coquitlam.
Golf! Home to not one, not two, but THREE courses. Westwood Plateau, Westwood Executive and Eagle Quest.
Food, food, food! You can find any cuisine and beverage option in Coquitlam. From food trucks to food courts, Coquitlam has it all.
Port Coquitlam
Nature! Poco has tons of trails and bike paths that wind through the city. From forest to river views, there’s definitely not a dull sight to be seen.
Amenities! Poco’s recently updated recreation centre is incredible - with three ice sheets, pool, gym and outdoor courts, cafe and concession, it’s a great place to hang out.
Sense of community! Poco is very small and has a real small-town feel in a big city setting.
Port Moody
Oceanside living! Port Moody’s Rocky Point Park, Old Orchard Park and Belcarra have beautiful beaches that make spending time outside a priority.
Breweries! Port Moody pioneered Brewer’s Row, which now features several breweries and distilleries on Murray Street, which is a hot spot for a leisurely evening spent sipping your favourite craft brews.
Trendy spots! Places like Gabi & Jules, Spacca Napoli and the shops and services at Suter Brook Village and Newport Village to name a few.
Are you in love with where you live? What’s the best thing about your neighbourhood?
