Welcoming the Year of the Snake and an Exciting Announcement

February has arrived and so has the Lunar New Year. 2025 is the Year of the Snake, which is a creature characterized as alert, calm and smart. If you’re born in the year of the snake, this year feels like it’s shaping up to be a great one for you!

In incredible news, I have been selected to join the 2025 Royal LePage Shelter Foundation Trek to Cambodia this fall! This will be my 6th Trek for Shelter, and I am thrilled to participate again. Please help me to reach my personal fundraising goal of $10,000 this year.

80% of every dollar raised will go to support the Tri-City Transitions Society right here in Port Coquitlam, and 20% goes towards national violence prevention programs. The Tri-City Transitions Society provides programs aimed at domestic violence prevention, protection and services to women and children. 1 in 4 women will experience domestic abuse in their lifetime, and being a part of the reduction of this number is very important to me.
