Spring has officially arrived in the Tri-Cities

Spring has officially arrived in the Tri-Cities, and with it comes fresh air, blooming cherry blossoms, and a full lineup of local events that bring our community to life. Whether you’re new to the area or a long-time resident, there’s something for everyone to enjoy this season.
Here’s a roundup of some of the best ways to get out and celebrate spring locally:
Farmer’s Markets
The beloved farmers markets are back in full swing! Stop by for local produce, artisan goods, fresh baked treats, and handmade crafts. It's the perfect neighbourhood outing and a great way to support local.
- Coquitlam – Sundays at Dogwood Pavillion
- Port Moody – Wednesdays at 300 Ioco Road
- Port Coquitlam – Thursdays at Terry Fox Square
Evergreen Cultural Centre Spring Shows
Catch a live performance at the Evergreen this season. From theatre to live music to gallery exhibits, this is a wonderful way to support local artists and experience the arts in our own backyard. If you’ve never been to the Evergreen, it’s a really excellent place to visit!
Block Parties
Watch for community block parties hosted by local neighbourhood associations. They’re a fantastic opportunity to meet your neighbours and all three have a program where you can apply to host your own!
Beyond the events, spring is simply a magical time to live here. Trails are reopening, patios are buzzing, and our parks are coming alive. Whether you’re strolling through Rocky Point Park or enjoying a craft beer on a patio, there's an energy that only spring brings.
If you’re thinking of making a move this season—or simply curious about what’s happening in your neighbourhood real estate-wise—feel free to reach out. I’m always happy to chat about market trends, local tips, or your future plans.
Here’s to a season full of connection, community, and fresh starts! 🌼
