Burke Mountain Area Schools

School District #43 serves the community of Coquitlam as well as the neighbouring communities of Anmore, Belcarra, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody.  Current schools for the Burke Mountain area are Leigh Elementary, Minnekhada Middle School, Kwayquitlam Middle School and Pinetree Secondary School.

Also located nearby are Douglas College and Simon Fraser University, with many options available for adult education and recreational learning.

When fully developed, Burke Mountain will feature five elementary schools, two middle schools and one high school.
